The Gruffalo is one of the world's best loved friendly monsters. Since it was first published in 1999, the award winning story by Julia Donaldson of his encounter with the little brown mouse in the deep dark wood has continued to delight children and adults alike.

We are delighted to include this fantastic Gruffalo costume in our collection. For children from 3 years to 10 years this all in one costume has lots of features and is lots of fun.

This one piece jumpsuit is in soft brown faux fur fabric with Velcro fastening at the back. On the tummy is a pocket with a sweet embroidered mouse peeping out. The sleeves are trimmed with soft white "claws" and there are patches on the trouser legs.

Down the back are two rows of soft purple 'spikes' leading to the soft padded tail which is finished with a tuft of brown fur and is attached with Velcro.

The attached hood has a detailed character face with soft white teeth, padded gruffalo horns, big round orange eyes and soft floppy ears.

3-4 years to fit height 98-110cm and waist 55cm

4-6 years to fit height 115-128cm and waist 57cm

7-9 years to fit height 128-143cm and waist 62 cm

Fabric 100% Polyester excluding trims. Wash at 40 degrees with similar colours. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not iron.
